Central Park Club
Central Park will remind the visitor of what clubs used to be like ten years ago. DJs generally play a relentless selection of mainstream music throughout the week and at weekends. The perennial slow-dance set will remind you of your youth. Yet despite its formulaic approach, this club can get crowded, often leading to queues at weekends. A night here can be entertaining, if you go in a group.
I am a Galway girl, born and bred and I am totally addicted to CP's. It's mighty craic altogether. If u are coming to Galway and want a good nite out I guarantee you that you'll get that (and more) in Central Park. You'll never leave without a man on your arm...and that's a guarantee!!!
I was in Galway for the weekend recently and my friend and I tried to get into CP's.
After queueing for a good half hour we finally got to the top of the queue and the bouncers asked me for ID. Just as I was taking out my ID i was replying to something my friend had asked me. All of a sudden one of the bouncers told us both to move to the side and that we werent getting in. Adding that "we might get in somewhere in Dublin".

Clearly they have a problem with people from Dublin.
Overcrowded, over priced drink, nasty bouncers, carpets smell of vomit, very little seating, this place is little more than a cattle-mart for humans. The music is strictly commercial, with little innovation. This dive should be avoided at all costs, despite what many may tell you.
