With AIRE and Bord Failte approval, Hop Island Equestrian Centre offers an unparalleled experience. All ages and levels are welcome to enjoy the facilities, which include floodlit indoor and outdoor arenas. Qualified instruction is available to help you improve your show jumping or dressage skills. For the bold and the brave, there's a very challenging cross-country course or, if you prefer, leisurely beach rides are also possible.

Hop Island makes me sick

I hate it . All they do is hit the horses / ponys . Where I ride we are much different . there is not one good thing about this equestrain center . It is extremly bad . So if you are looking at this cause you want to send your child there DON'T !!!

Amazing!

i ride every week for a while and i love it. everyone nice and ponies/horses/others really nice. everyone nice i jump like show jump n professionally thanks to this awesome place. i see lil kids who cant trot and i see people at my level jumping jumps higher than i am it rocks.

Best ridin skool eva they av great horses and ponies u learn loads and hav a great crac dere instructors give fun lessons and u learn lots unreal place recommend it to neone

extremely freindly and exciting atmosphere not boring like other places and still take good care of you,they supply a broad range of areas of riding so if u have a family everyone fits in !

I love Hop Island because they have nice teachers and its just great!!!!!!!! ;-) p.s I go on a Tues @ 4-5 Go there if you want great value,great teachers and great horses/ponies!

I loved riding there it was so enjoyable.It was great fun and joyful.I went jumping and I learn so much about horses.I love riding in Hop Island.

I LIKE THE PLACE BECAUSE THE TEACHERS ARE SOUND AND THE HORSES ARE REALLY FRENDLY AND YOU CAN GO DOWN AND HELP OUT WHEN EVER YOU WANT.

I had to work in Cork for the Summer period and rode once or twice a week in Hop Island. I had absolutely no complaints. It was great fun and Liam and Mary are lovely people. Very memorable experiences on the beach, especially when they accomodated five of my friends who also loved the experience.
