Tribes of Tuckey Street, Cork

While the rest of the city sleeps, Tribes keeps on producing cappuccinos and blasting out groovy sounds. This place attracts a mixed crowd: those too young for the pubs come to drink coffee and discuss the meaning of life and song-lyrics, while those too tense to sleep come to sip hot chocolates or herbal teas. (Those too drunk are stopped at the door by the meaty bouncers.) There's a straightforward menu featuring toasted sandwiches, baguettes, soup, chocolate brownies etc.
