China Gold, Cork

I came from Frankfurt, I work in Cork City, relocated, I went to China Gold several times, it's a good restaurant, I like Chinese food since I was very young, service there is good, girls there are very polite and nurturing, I've no idea that why you thought they're cold to you, don't be fussy, I think you definitely have't seen the dirty look in some other restaruants when you tipped too little. My Suggestion: try diferent restaurants in Cork City, you'll know which one is worthy enough to go often.

I'm new in town and after reading the previous review, I decided to dine at this restaurant. That was a mistake! The food was fine, but my boyfriend and I felt very unwelcome at this restaurant by each of the two waitresses working. I've never written a review before, but after the unfriendliness by both workers we encountered, I felt I had to let others know. The waitresses were very cold and unpleasant towards us. They hovered over us, standing less than two feet away from us during our time there. We were utterly appalled when we heard one of the waitresses burp as she walked by our table. I wanted to voice our dissatisfaction to management, but we did not see anyone else around. Please do yourself a favor and eat at another Chinese restaurant!
