Located on St Patrick's Street in the heart of the city's shopping district, China Gold is a busy, popular restaurant with a slightly informal atmosphere. There is a huge selection of dishes to choose from, with diners free to order fish, shellfish, beef, poultry or pork prepared in various styles from Bejing, Szechuan, Canton, Thailand, and Malaysia. The sweet and sour pork, and chicken satay are two of the most popular dishes on the extensive menu. The staff are efficient and well-informed.
