Kafkas, Cork

Although I always thought Kafka's food was a little over priced I was willing to keep going there as the food itself was great.That was up until my last visit when I found out that they had completely changed the look of the place,got rid of table service and you now have to queue reading from a fast-food style menuboard hung up on the wall. For years kafka's was one of my favourite places in Cork to eat,it had a great atmosphere,great staff and a quirky feel to the place. But now it resembles little more than a caf in Coronation street! Every other cafe in the city would have to be closed to get me back in there now.

Popular with teens, a young, informal atmosphere. You may have to queue for a while around lunch time as cafe is small but it' s worth the wait!
