The waiters stand around talking amongst each other while only 1 waiter actually works and serves the customers. Paying my bill was the best part when the head waiter decided for himself how much of a tip he should include . So very typical of many Budapest restaurants

The restaurant from the centre onto 30 minutes is . In pleasant environment can be found.The soup was juicy saltless one. The meat was small. The music was very pleasant, service is very bad. I do not recommend it!

Highly recommended, worth the money and time for sure. Upscale hungarian in the Buda hills - 20-30 minute taxi ride from downtown Pest depending on traffic and starting point. Warm, inviting inside decor, formal but polite and consistently good service, nice outdoor patio/garden in summer. Usually has accordion music, at least on weekends. Prices aren't cheap, but aren't overly expensive either. Fun menu, including children's choices. Food is excellent, 'home-style' hungarian. You're likely to be sharing the dining room with expats and hungarian TV stars, families and couples. Duck liver or gulyas soup for starters; vennison, lecho style pork, or paprika catfish main dishes recommended. Try the Somloi Galuska for dessert, it's one of the best in Hungary! chocolate souffle isn't a bad choice either, if they have it.

Been there 1985 and returning everytime I am in Budapest. The menu alone is worth going there. Its a charming place you should not miss. Just reserved a table for my birthday dinner:-)
