Acropolis, Athens

I went to see it last year during the Olympics 2004 in Athens. It was very informative, historic and magnificent!

Although all my family has visited the Acropolis, I haven t been there but I have seen lots of pictures and spoke with many people that have visited the monument. The atmosphere is historicall and enchanting in the same time. It seems verz great to me how the greecs have preserved this great monument so many years. It is amazing that we , the people from today have somethings to remember us about the former civilisations and about their greatness. Florina Scarlat from Bucharest, Romania

When you stand at the Acropolis, you feel great! The best month that you should visit it, is June or September, not to hot, not to cold in Greece.

This place is awesome. Its right next to the ocean and its clean. You are able to go drink something right there next to it. It still looks good and you are able to see it how it been before a lot of years. AWESOME

Athens is truly one of the dirtiest cities I have ever been in. The Olympics were supposed to be held there in 2000 but because of the pollution it was cancelled, and I heard that It was almost cancelled again in 2004. But in the midst of the city arises an amazing site, The Acropolis. Even with the construction you start to get just a glimpse of what Greece was. You tend to forget about all of the pollution and dirt below you. As you walk by different structures, you remember pictures that you have seen in books. Although they look the same you see it in a totally different way. It leaves you in Awe. The Acropolis is truly one of the most important historical sites in Europe.

One of the most amazing places I have ever been. You tend to forget that the city below is full of crime and filth. Sitting atop of Acropolis mountain is truly an immortalizing experience.

very nice place to visit i like Greece

I thought it was very interesting and it was fun.

This place was so wonderful, everything about it. You do have to wear the proper shoes because there are rocks that do tend to hurt if not careful. The air is so peaceful the sky is crystal blue, so it just makes it all the more wonderful!

Wow the acropolis was one cool place, i tell ya. The view up there is crazy cool. Also, the air is fresh and you can feel a sort of ancient presence around you while you are up there. I reccommend it to all you peeps out there.
