This is the best and largest bookshop in Athens. Spread over eight floors, Eleftheroudakis covers a wide variety of topics. Among the books on offer are many titles in English and other languages. Perhaps the most interesting for visitors are the travel books and maps, the translations of ancient and modern Greek literature and the cook books featuring Greek cuisine. Also available are books and toys for children. A small cafe can be found on the sixth floor.
