Description

One of the city's most authentic fish tavernas can be found in the working-class district of Piraeus. Tassos Kollias serves his customers a great selection of fresh fish and seafood, that has become a legend among the gourmets of Athens. The food on offer ranges from grilled sea bass (caught that day) to shrimps in a tomato-and-pepper sauce, deep-water oysters and sea urchins. A good wine selection complements the taverna's offerings. Dinner is served on the roof terrace during the summer.

Expensive for the value.

This is the typical expensive fish restaurant, with good (not great) and varied food. It isn't a "typical fish tavern" as is posted in many places * Food was good (most of it was edible). But expensive for the quality. * The place is new. But people were smoking inside (It is forbidden by the law) * Service was good. In Greece usually service is good. (good work) * Value: I won't recommend it. There are many better places to go in Athens.

Kollias' great taveran moved to a new great place

It is not in Keratsini anymore as shown here but on Syngrou Avenue, within walking distance from Metropolitan Hotel. This new place is absolutely beautiful, you can see all the fish and the seafood and the wonderful meze that's so typical of KOLLIAS' cuisine, the homemade desserts and dozens of different ouzo that are on offer! And it's absolutely great value for money too. A MUST!

everything is o.k.my self and my family was realy enjoid.My children was so happy to be there again and have a wonderful and enjoyeble evening
