Founded in 1977, Galerie Rupert Walser spent its initial years of existence exhibiting far-out abstract paintings, sculptures and drawings, and publishing prints by its artists under the name 'Druckwerk' (Printed Works). The gallery also printed and published the last two silk-screen editions produced by Italian artist Antonio Calderara, who was regarded as the spiritual father of the inspired abstract program. With various themed art exhibits the year round, this gallery is usually frequented by art connoiseurs on the look-out for fresh talents.
