The name of this gallery demonstrates the need to point out that there is also a Galerie Kampl in Berlin, the 'Galerie & Projekte Kampl und Partner'. Matthias Kampl acts as a link between the two cities; he is active in all events put on by the gallery as well as in straightforward exhibitions, of which there is certainly no shortage. For some time, the emphasis has been on new media and the work of artists like Peter Weibl and Ottmar Hörl, but the modern experimentalists have also been given their fair share of space.
