Nicely decorated throughout, although possibly slightly overdone, this place is too hectic and the clientele too young to be described as a typical Bavarian pub. The tables are placed close together in the American style; there is a second bar in the basement and the manager is obviously aiming to attract passers-by from Leopoldstraße. The food is fine, particularly the roast pork, and the prices are reasonable. The main advantages of this place are the long opening hours and the tables on the pavement, which are kept warm on cold evenings with heaters. Hot food is available until 2:30a.
