Museum der Arbeit is mainly concerned with the way in which life and work has changed over the last 150 years. It is located in what used to be a rubber factory, and the process of industrialization and the accompanying social, cultural and economic changes are portrayed in an interesting way - the effects on mankind, society and the environment are well traced and documented. The museum's entire collection is not on display; not surprising given that it is always searching for new acquisitions, which are connected to everyday life and work.
