Reeperbahn, Hamburg

The Reeperbanhn is certainly an interesting experience for those not used to sex on sale on such a large and blatant scale. Somewhat forbiding in fact for a lone traveller the first time. Many stories of monstrous rip offs in the peep shows and bars. The prostitutes are very attractive and active in trying to gain your attention. Unfortunately they have a reputation for giving poor value in this tourist trap. I found this to be the case, one can end up spending alot of money for not much of an experience. It does however feel safe in all senses of the word and I cant say I did not enjoy the overall experience.
