This is the restaurant for Cologne celebrities. You will cross paths here with the big names in politics and the media. Over the last few years it has been mostly media people from popular German TV shows such as Sieben Tage, sieben Köpfe, Geld oder Liebe, and also Mitternachtspitzen. The chef spoils them all with good simple meals such as veal liver with roast onions and apple slices on mashed potatoes, grilled lamb fillets with spinach and potatoes, or plaice cutter fish. All of this builds the stomach a good lining for a bit of boozing with some refreshing Kölsch lager (the local brew). But where do those unattractive ashtrays come from?
