Previously situated in West Berlin, the gallery has since moved to the eastern part of the city, close to where the Wall used to be. One of the oldest and largest galleries in town, Galerie Max Hetzler exhibits high-quality works by well-established contemporary artists. Some of the names on show are Darren Almond, Larry Clark, Jeff Koons, Albert Oehlen, Thomas Struth, Sarah Morris, Georg Herold, Martin Kippenberger and Jean-Marc Bustamante.
