Have just spent New Year in NY and visted Jack Dempsey's there was a roaring fire that we asked to sit near and were told its for larger parties, the food was dreadful the starter of combo chicken was raw, the cheese things were like rubber, main cousre was reheated fries with something that resembled a hamburger not too sure what but not edible. The food was disgusting, the bar itself looked ok but after that meal we left and went and had coffee at as we were starving. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Crap Dempsey's.... After being seated by a smelly busboy, we sat down at a table in a completely empty room and spent the next 15 minutes waiting for service. We started with chicken wings which we thought were just OK. My wife had the chicken pot pie which tasted like it was made out of the late Jack Dempsey himself....it was awful. I had the burger which I give a 5 out of 10. The best thing about our meal were the beers which they didn't make. BAD SERVICE, BAD FOOD, BAD TIME. Lots of better places to eat close by.

My family were in Ny last weekend for the first time last weekend and I saw jack dempsey's resturant I told my wife there's my first meal and the fish and chips were great. I loved the atmosphere great. I've told a lot of people about the place. Great job keep it up especially server Sheila A #23

This was the first meal we had in NYC, as our hotel was directly behind the building (Holiday Inn). We were very pleasantly surprised. The prices were actually low for Manhatten, and the food was quite good, large portions and very tasty. Can those Irish cook, or what?! Steve O'Rourke, Santa Rosa, CA
