Filmmuseum Potsdam, Potsdam

The Film Museum is often overlooked due to the pulling power of Filmpark Babelsberg , the former Ufa, later DEFA, studios, which are also located in Potsdam . This modern museum is, however, definitely worth the trip for both film fanatics and regular visitors. The exhibition includes a vast collection of memorabilia from the DEFA and Ufa days. The items are authentic and have been collected with a lot of attention to detail. Highlights include items of clothing worn by Marlene Dietrich and clips from films such as the silent classic The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.
