Did he say \"disappointed\" in the Eiffel Tower???

Just returned from Paris before the ruckus and strikes began. Provence was our main area to visit, but our 3 days in Paris just a block from the Eiffel Tower was an education as well as a joy to the eyes! it is a tribute to engineering and to its German designer Alexandre Gustave Bonickhausen who was born in Dijon, France! Eiffel was the name adopted by his father ( after his home town in Germany) because the French could not pronounce Bonickhausen (go figure!!!). It is a sparkling tower which should be studied both day and at night, when it's thousands of lights twinkle ever hour for a few minutes. Learn the history and you will NOT be disappointed!!!! Book ahead of time and go to the premiere etage ( first level) for lunch and you won't have to stand in the entry line to go UP to the top! And you can walk down...also a treat!
Sparkle on !!!
