A best of paris experience

This is it for me in Paris. The next trip to the city of lights will embrace the Musee du Vin totally. In the five years since I last visited museum has been enhanced, a restaurant has been added and a hotel attached. A full service museum. The displays are a wonder for any wine lover. The restaurant a complete delight for any food and wine lover and the remarkable plus is that the prices are reasonable. In fact, I feel the restaurant is perhaps the best value in the entire city. The pluses continue: the menu items are an assembly of virtually all loved French fare and the wine list is extensive with a full price range but the real value is the house red. That wine is perfectly delightful at less than 10 euros. It seems the good news never stops; a euro of every house wine sale is donated to a charity! All this is the result of the care and attention of the owner, Claude and Monique Josse. Both are recognized food and wine experts and are in constant demand as consultants. When I last saw them they were off to China to advise on that country's wine program. Oh, and finally the location is just across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower and just down the street from Trocadero. Don't miss it.
