Ferme Saint-Simon (La), Paris

We had dinner here on 11/13/07, our 2nd visit. There is a nice 35 Euro meal with 2 choices for the 1st two courses, one selects the desert from the main menu. The wine list has some nice, reasonably priced choices. Ordering a la carte can quickly get very high but there are some interesting choices. The staff is nice and welcoming, the dining room is very pretty and not overly cramped. Our 1 complaint was that virtually all the guests were groups of businessmen, there was only 1 other woman having dinner. I know this sounds like a silly complaint but it takes away from the atmosphere. Nevertheless, we'll return.

The new owners - M. Dario and Mme. Nicole - were the owners of "La Forge" at rue Pascal, where we had dined many times. We were very curious about their new restaurant. So last June, 27th. we had lunch there. We liked it very much.Our plates were very good,the ambiance is great, the service discreet. Reasonable priced carte des vins. I went to La Ferme Saint Simon a few days ago and that was amazing!!! The food is exceptional and prices are really reasonable. The only thing is finding a parking spot in the area!

My wife and I were at Ferme St. Simon last weekend and the food was exceptional. The menu was very creative and had a fine balance between fish, poultry and meat. The pigeon finely prepared and I would certainly reccomend. For wine lovers, the wine list is very reasonable and expansive. A must visit for people earching for a ~$200 meal with all the bells and whistles.
