You will have to choose between the splendid sight of the parade of bridges spanning the Seine and the marvellous cuisine offered by chef Alain Reix: Puff Pastries filled with crab and shrimp cream, Pan-Roasted Langoustine and Lobster with Citrus Fruit Jus, Oven Baked Veal, Veal Rib Steak with Mushrooms and Cristalline of Raspberries with Brouilly Sherbet. Excellent service.
Having been forewarned of the expense of dinner I had great expectations of a gastronomic fantasy. This was one of the few occasions in my life that my expectations were met if not surpassed.
I have read many reports filled by acclaimed food editors who were disappointed by this restaurant. I can only suggest that their reports might have been based on anti French fervor
and not a totally honest review.
If you are willing to spend $500 to 700 for dinner for two, this is the place to feast on delicacies you may never experience again. The food preparation and service set a standard for World Class Restaurants.
