Description

The atmosphere at Mahajarah brings to mind the magic of India and Pakistan: the sights, the smells, and the sounds are complemented by elegant, efficient service and wonderful dishes. Maharajah serves tasty Tandoori Chicken, a number of different curries like a Lamb Curry with Aubergines, and the famous Cheese Nans (Indian breads). If you close you eyes, you can almost hear the sitar and see the dancers . . . .

The staff were rude and the service was all in all unsatisfactory. A dining experience is not only about the food, and this restaurant failed to deliver service. There are other restaurants with better food also.

Paris in November

This was my first visit to Maharajah and to Paris. We found this restaurant while walking down the street and decided from the menu to try it. My father, sister, and I enjoyed the food, the service was excellent and I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will return when I am able to travel back to Paris.

the worst Indian food in Europe that i have in 27 years of my stay in Europe!!!! i think it is a shame calling it an Indian restaurant
