I'm obsessed, everything was fabulous.
By ,
I went to the one on Champs-Elysee and also the one on Rue Bonaparte. We all loved the food, even my teenage boys. My husband had the salmon club sandwich, to die for and I had the omelette with black truffle, incredible. The atmosphere was dreamy and the macarons and other pasteries out of this world. Try the rose flavored cream puff! The waiters were really nice, great service. You must visit one of the locations while in Paris. I wish I could move in!

Oh the gullible tourists!!
By ,
I don't know what all the fuss was about, the queue was horendous and it took an hour to be served for what looked like overpriced patisserie and macaroons! What a rip off and the worst thing is the long queues arouse curiosity from unsuspecting tourists who join in only willing to part with their cash for not particularly great pastries. There is a swarm of people in their hovering over the display of pastries and no doubt there is a hygiene issue. They charge euro 1.50 for a tiny macaroon and around euro 7.00 to 8.00 for an ordinary pastry; I bought 2 and one went off very quickly!! Horrible.

The "petits macarons" of all colours are to die for! I can't wait to go back there in May again for a long weekend in Paris.

Rude, rude, rude
By ,
We were seated at the table but the manager and wait staff refused to wait on us. We finally got up and left, but not without saying something. I happen to be an American who loves France, but this treatment is totally unacceptable. No one should be treated the way we were treated at Laduree. I should mention that the service was not good. The Spanish couple sitting next to us waited so long that they got up and took their own croissants, even though they knew that was not the protocal. Needless to say, Laduree needs to improve both its service and attitude. Both were pathetic...

A bit over-rated
By ,
Superb location and ambiance; one of the top tea rooms in Paris. We went with a group of 30. The long waits between courses was tolerable, as it is the way to dine in Europe and, especially, Paris. What was not acceptable about our three-hour dinner was the food quality...my lamb being tough and my wife's fish just acceptable - neither five star quality. While we are glad we went for the experience (and the pastry shop on the first floor), we'd look for a new adventure next trip (maybe one with air conditioning or at least a fan).
