Whether you've been out clubbing or sightseeing, this huge pizzeria situated on the world's most beautiful avenue - the Champs Elysees - is well worth a visit. Enjoy the kitschy decor and high quality Italian cuisine (at reasonable prices for the district) served right through the day until the early hours of the morning. Available to take away or eat in, dishes cater for all tastes: pasta carbonara, four-cheese pizza or the extra-large Pino special (around EUR14).
After trying different restaurants on our first visit to Paris, we actually settled on eating 3 of our last 4 dinners at Pizza Pino. The prices were more affordable than some of the other restaurants in the area and were actually superior in food, service and ambiance. We ate in the upstairs dining room which was somewhat more comfortable than the street level and less chaotic. We were served by 3 different waiters on 3 different evenings and I can't say enough about our dining experience. It was a wonderful place to make eating memorable while on the Champs-Elysees. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
The food in pizza pino was very good, unfortunatley the service was very bad. The waiters look like chickens with there heads cut off. We sat down and it took us 15 minutes just to get a menu and then to get your food took 45 minutes. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is looking for customer service.
Was meeting a friend there, got a table for 3 so they sat my wife an I at a table for 4.
My friend was late and we wanted a snack. They refused to serve us without going to a smaller table. I'm sure it's not a thing that normally happens to other people but seriously.
So didn't get to try the food so we left and went to another place.
One note on the menu, they only have mains and salads.
I'd avoid this chain like the plague, there a many nice smaller places that are not chains to have pizza at in the city.
What can we say? We were in Paris for 7 days and ate there 3 times! Why? Simply stated, it is a family friendly place with fast and great service. No stuffiness to be found there, Pizza Pino served great pizzas and pastas, ample salads and the bread with olive oil and peppers hit the spot right away. This is not a romantic brasserie. It's a bit crowded and loud. Rather, it's a place where you need not be self-conscious if your kids want to have a little fun at the table. Equally important, it is large enough to take you quickly and place you at a table in a "non fumar" (no smoking) room. Let's face it, people smoke in Paris and it's nice to NOT have the smoke get in your eyes and nose while you eat. 5 stars.
Admittedly, we did this to ourselves by choosing to dine at a random pizza place on the Champs D'Elysses, but no human beings deserved our culinary fate. We expected to pay a little too much for our meals, but for just under 50 Euro all we got were 2 6 Euro cokes and two plates of pasta that tasted like they had just been popped out of their microwave-safe boxes. Some warning bells went off when the food arrived within about 30 seconds of our placing the order. We left a short time later, feeling like we had been financially sodomized. Steer clear. This place is awesom. I may be biast, because i have eaten there since i was 6, and to be honest i cannot find a place with such delicious, fire oven, fresh pizza anywhere. It is highly recommended, their mozzarela cheeze is to die for, melts in ur mouth and is enough to give you a burst of flavor in your mouth.
Used Republique branch with my family.
Waiters were very friendly. Food quality was good enough and quantity was too much for kids. Wine selection is not so bad. They only have good cost performance wine.
