Using techniques that go back several hundred years, craftsmen here create stunning pieces of glassware from what at first glance appears to be nothing more than sand. Watch them at work as this is turned into molten glass that's heated white-hot, fashioned into shape while soft and pliable, given its final contours, and finally cooled down: a series of skilfully executed steps that transform a shapeless lump of molten material into an exquisite multicolored vase. Each piece sold here is unique, starting from around EUR7 for a small glass figurine up to around EUR765 for a sculpture. Guided tours available in French, English and Italian. Round off your visit with a wander through picturesque Eze village.
