Fun, with a big F

I have rated it as a cafe, which it is, albeit a pricy one, and not an upmarket restaurant, which it does not pretend to be.
The shellfish on my "plat de fruits de mer" were excellent, fresh tasting and plentiful. All the tools required for shellfish eating were automatically provided, this makes for an easier life.
My pidgin French seemed to work adequately with the staff. After all we are in France, we have to expect to at least try to speak some French. We found the waiters positively helpful.
I opted for the lowest cost wine, Muscadet de Sevre et Maine, and, again, no complaints. Am I too easy to please?
The romantic exploits at adjacent tables were fascinating.
One straight, with oysters and Champagne and a lovely young lady.
One gay with one Northern European male who eyed up every other male within 20m, except me, was I too old or too ugly. Whichever, that suited both my wife and I.
All in all, I have not had as much dining fun in years and would thoroughly recommend a visit. Get there early, we arrived at 18:30 and tables were plentiful, but by 19:30 a queue was forming . It fills up fast.
Go on, have FUN, enjoy yourself.
