Description
This restaurant overlooking the sea and Nice's lighthouse has been in business since 1936. The speciality here is, unsurprisingly, fish - most of which will have been caught that very morning. Large bay windows make the interior wonderfully airy and bright and the traditional local recipes on offer are sublime. The wine list contains a range of good Provençal wines. The restaurant is just beyond the harbour, located in a calm spot far from the bustle of the city centre. Valet parking service available.
I liked meeting 2 members of U2 at the next table.. It fish is excellent too. I was impressed by the view and the hall of fame of past diners including Jacques Chirac.
Impeccable ambiance, good good -- fresh and simple.
good value for money.
Anyone wishing to get away from the crowd to spend the time in intimate 'parley' need look no further.
Fish was the best, the views is incredible. Rice and some veggies come with the whole fish but little thought to side dishes. With some wine and a sunset, what else do you need?
