Horloge Restaurant (L'), Nice

This is no ordinary cafe - it is in fact one of Nice's trendiest eateries. Situated in the city centre, close to Place Massena, this is in fact a restaurant owned by the famous Aston Golden Tulip Hotel. Traditional French cuisine is prepared here with great finesse. A dash of honey and some lemon zest subtly bring out the best in the fillet of duck. As for the frogs' legs (yes, its true - the French really do eat them!), they are delicious accompanied by a simple Ratatouille (a regional speciality).
