Description

From the first sunny days of spring, a chic clientele rushes to this immense semicircular terrace in the heart of downtown Bordeaux; it's the perfect place to see and be seen. Inside, there is a large room decorated like a Parisian cafe, with a huge wooden counter. Lunch and light set meals are always available, and the service is very fast and extremely polite.

Great Restaurant

Was our Third Major dining experience in France and was our first where we weren't treated like the plague for being Americans. The outdoor cafe is near the Place Gambetta which is an outdoor English garden and has a wonderful menu. I had the Duck and was very pleased. The waitstaff was knowledgable, expert and friendly, they even had a sense of humor!!! Recommended dining in Bordeaux, ignore the previous bad review from the other poster.

What a disgrace!

The cost of the food at this restaurant totals $20 dollars!!! It seems good, but my son ordered the chicken and only got one nugget. This was a disgrace to every food i got. Lettuce was the only thing in the salad. GOOD FOR TAKEOUT DUE TO SMELL!

Brasserie life in Bordeaux

Superb atmospheric traditional style brasserie. In the heart of the elegant city of Bordeaux. Watch the world go by whilst informally dining. Superb local cuisine, excellent seafood, wines and service.
