Kasakka is a traditional Russian restaurant in the centre of town. As this old-fashioned and fairly dark restaurant maintains its fame and popularity after many years, a reservation is recommended just about every night. A popular appetizer is the cold portion of Russian herring, followed by a vegetable grill or the duck in a cabbage roll. The service is satisfactory, although the kitchen seems to take its time in preparing the dishes. The food is of excellent quality, though, and very tasty. Prices are quite low for Russian cuisine.
