Den Franske Cafe
The French Cafe probably has one of the best views in all Copenhagen cafes. It is situated on the cosy Østerbro and if you sit here you have a great view over lake Sortedam. Visiting this cafe in the summertime you can sit outdoors by the waterfront and the atmosphere and views are even better. The French Cafe is one of the oldest cafes in Copenhagen, and you will find that a wide range of people come here, from regulars to groups of young mothers and girls for a coffee after their aerobics class. Prices are average and on the menu are all kinds of delicious light meals, salads, sandwiches and pies. If you feel that it is time for something sweet, you can choose a cake from the displays. All their cakes and breads come from the French bakery nearby. Saturdays and Sundays brunch is served between 11a-2p. Every day between November and the end of February the cafe is only open until 6p.
