Petřín Gardens (Petřínske skalky), Prague

Don't want to walk up that steep hill? Take the funicular up and walk down! At the midway point of the funicular ride, you can disembark and take the path directly north (cutting across the hill) to the Petrinske Terasy (sp?) for wonderful food and amazing views, especially at night. Fabulous. Warning: If you are in the park during the winter, beware of some of the steeper paths that may be covered with ice and/or snow. Makes for some adventurous (if not downright terrifying) trips down the hill.

Peaceful park allowing for stunning views of Prague. Nice to walk through on a Sunday morning, catch the wildlife - red squirrels, hares, and an abundance of bird life.
