Prague Zoo
Description
Built against and on top of a rocky precipice, Prague Zoo features more than 10km of walks among animals, rare plants and tree species. One can take a chair lift to the top of the cliff. The animal enclosures are often large and very similar to native habitats. There is a children's corner as well as a baby changing center available. The sylvan setting of the zoo is enhanced by lovely views of much of Prague from the upper areas. Hours vary seasonally, check website for details.
This zoo is well worth the bus and metro ride. It has a multitude of animals you don't see in the US and the hill top area is great. An excellent value.
