Tourists and locals alike rub shoulders (often literally!) at this boistrous, old-fashioned pub known far and wide for its excellent Velkopopvicky Kozel beer and the brusque, black-aproned waiters who scowl if you don't drink more than one. Located in the heart of the Castle district and near the famous Loreto Church, U Cernoho Lva (or "The Black Bull") is not the place to come if you are averse to smoky air and alcohol. But if an authentic, beery atmosphere is what you seek, and you don't want to travel far for it, then by all means grab this bull by the horn.
