Description
The Atomium was the main pavilion of the Expo 58, the World Fair of Brussels. It represents the peaceful use of atomic energy. With a height of 102 meters, this structure represents an iron crystal, magnified 165 billion times. Nine spheres are held together by tubes and feature temporary and permanent exhibitions, as well as a restaurant.
