Shopping Gare du Midi
Description
This has become an increasingly popular station since the arrival of the Thalys, Eurostar and other high-speed trains. Some renovations and the opening of new stores have made this station a decent place to wait before taking a train. The terminal is filled with stores as well as a food court which includes a Haagen Dazs, a pitta stand, a few sandwich places and an Irish pub. There is also a Sbarro pizzeria and a Quick with separate seating. Some of the stores in the terminal include a mini GB-supermarket, Planet Parfume, Cric-Crac candy store, clothing stores, chocolate shops, a news stand, a sock shop and a store for miscellaneous gift items.
