Kaat Tilley, Brussels

I was honoured to meet Kaat in reality and to visit her fashionable store . It was thrilling experience for me with deeply immersion in to the world where a fairy-tale lives, beautiful old fashion corsets with lacing, delicate fine lace, and wide fine skirts. I also remember Kaat's paintings on the walls - the nymphs with the most slender waists while you are ascending a staircase that leads to the room where are a beautiful big old mirror, antique comfortable chair and a huge twisting, full of curves chandelier. Fascinated atmosphere. Unique. Feels like in a private home or studio where everything made with love, style and to welcome customers and satisfy their exquisite taste. You could find there all kind of dresses: wedding dresses, coctail and summer dresses. I very much liked one summer dress with few wavy skirts ( one under another) and thin shoulder straps. Unfortunately I could not buy it; the size of the dress was big for me. Memory still keeps this beautiful deep blue- indigo colour of the dress. Dear Kaat, you are an amazing woman and a great artist. And I love your rich luxurious red too. Thank you. I wish to you a huge inspiration for your new creative works and designer's collections.
