Pablo's has been in Brussels for years and serves spicy Tex-Mex food. The restaurant is popular with young folks and the atmosphere is always sociable. The decor is simple and works well for the crowd. Dogs are often spotted under diners' tables. The menu features delicious burritos, quesadilla, enchiladas and salads. It is probably the place in town for tequila and Margaritas. Mexican beer can also be found here. There is a bar area where you can also eat.
The food at this place is very good and so is the atmosphere. If you are going here to party then it is not a good idea because the price for drinks is very high. I am married and have two boys and spent 80 euro here which is over 100 dollars. In other words it is very expensive in comparison to the states but it is as good as it gets. The portions are also very big. Dont expect free chips and salsa when you sit down. You do have to pay for your chips and when they are gone you have to pay if you want more. So if you are an American who plans to eat here be ready to spend a lot more than if you were in the states drinking seven dollar pitchers of margaritas and 8 dollar plates.
Nothing resolves that homesick feeling I get..except for Pablos. I have searched high and low on my European travels, and hands down..this place is the best. Now, it is pricy, but cheaper than a flight to Mexico or my home town..Orange County, CA. Enjoy!
Pablo's is a respite for all those missing decent Mexican food. In my home of California we are overrun with wonderful Mexican food. Europe in general is far from being blessed with the same. If you are begging for a burrito, or find an enchillada exciting, Pablo's is one of the few and far between places in Europe you will find tasty mexican food (if not really traditional). The servers are generally friendly and speak english - which is far from a given around here. The rarity of finding good Mexican food means the prices aren't cheap - 18 euros for a taco, enchillada, mexican rice, beans, and small salad. But you'll never leave hungry. Overall, when you're craving a taco, there's no where else to go.
