With its ancient vaulted ceilings illuminated by candlelight, Da Capo is the perfect place to spend a romantic evening. The menu includes a fine selection of Italian specialities and the service is typically Italian: relaxed, unhurried and cheery. Due to its inner-city location, the prices are fairly steep for pizza and fish dishes. Da Capo is normally crowded, meaning that making a reservation is essential. The garlic bread is excellent and shouldn't be missed.
I wish every city would have a place like that. You spend a wonderful day in one ot the most beautiful places in the world and after sumptious austrian fare, the perfect place to have something light and different and not expensive.....what a find.I wish,i would live around the corner,I eat there every day...

I liked the attitude of the waiters though on one occasion only a waitress was noy that prompt but in general they have a good service. the smoking section can be badly ventilated at times so for those who may not bear it , go to the nicht rauchen section. It is advisable to reserve as it is a popular spotted among viennese and vistors. I advise you to try the garlic foccacia bread.
