Cafe Tomaselli, Salzburg

Cafe Tomaselli is a classic Viennese coffeehouse with an affiliated patisserie producing fine pastries and petit fours. It was in business as early as 1705, serving coffee, tea and homemade chocolates to its clientele, who these days spend afternoons ambling through the many titles of the international press supplied by the coffeehouse. With wooden tables and a somewhat antiquated interior design, Cafe Tomaselli adopts an air of former times and maintains stress-free surroundings. In the summer months, tables and chairs are set up outside, lending a good view of the Old Market.
