Great atmosphere, but truly enjoyed the history.
My primary reason for visiting the cafe revolved around its affiliation with W.A. Mozart and his family. It is literally "right around the corner" from the birth place of Mozart. It is my understanding that he frequented the Cafe Tomaselli frequently, if not daily.
This alone was motivation to make the effort to visit the cafe. Once there, we truly enjoyed the product as well as the service. The waiter spoke fluent English, which was very nice (since none of our group spoke German.) The coffee was very enjoyable.
In my opinion, well worth visiting on any merit.
