Pasta e Vino, Salzburg

Graet food, great host and quiet location. Small menu but all excellent quality. My wife said try the profiteroles, the best she has ever had. The host is fun and accommodating. a great experience and genuine Italian food. Don't miss it!!

I thought this place was pretty good for being in the Alt Stadt. I am a regular to Salzburg owning both a home in Florida and one in Salzburg. Being Italian, I may be a bit critical, however, this place is worth a try. Another place which is excellent and very inexpensive considering the ambiance and the quality of food and service is Restauraunt Mediterrane on Moosstrasse 36. Being outside of the city and hidden allows it to have meals at no more than 15 Euro, not that price should matter for a quant and excellent place. Again, both being in the Alt Stadt is ok, if you want excellent, make the drive....

I went with my family on holiday. All my family loved it. At the end and middle the owner came out to shake our hands and check everything was okay. It's a pity we only found it on the last day. Aoibh, age nine.

First off the place is very small and hard to find but a great little joint. Arrived with the wife at 8:00 PM and were told the place was closed but the waiter was very nice and accomodated us and gave us the last one table of the 6 in the place. If you do not speak Italian, forget trying to communicate but just go with whatever they offer. The Italian table next to us help out. There is no menu, you get the offer of the day. Go with the house wine, and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Good value for the $$

A few months ago they opened another pasta e vino next to "Zentrum Herrnau", Alpenstra�e - bus stop "Josefiau" with lines 3 and 8 Just as great and just as nice atmosphere. I live in Salzburg and go there as often as possible, sometimes just to have some amazing "Antipasti". Gotta love this place, Miriam Flaksman

Once in a while, a nice place with nice people and excellent food. Pasta and wine just like the name Pasta e vino this is all you get here and it is GREAT !!! Macy

Clean, quick service, friendly staff and good food, the hot kitchen of this little italian family run restaurant is open from 11am to 9 pm !! Well located next to the pedestrian area. Will go again Robin

Quick lunch or dinner and a glass of wine are always available here they are open from 9am to 9pm so I ended up passing by and having an appetiser then came back for lunch a snack at 4 and the dinner, the owner is now my buddy.... Evelyn
