Museo de Arte y Diseño Contemporáneo, San Jose

This museum contains contemporary national and international art pieces, with emphasis in experimental works and new techniques. It offers temporary exhibits, installations and industrial designs from all over the world, especially some of the young emerging artists. The museum is located within the complex that houses the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports offices, as well as a couple of theaters and other cultural facilities. Admission is free on Mondays.
