Pizzería Il Pomodoro, Curridabat

this week a group of diners was kicked out of La Buca (same owners) for hugging in public. the owners have admitted that this happened, and have refused to issue an apology. please don't support discrimination with your dollars.

This place has probably the best food I have ever had in San Jose but it's a tad pricey. Equivalent to the prices at a local Olive Garden (but MUCH better). I guess I meant pricey by CR standards.

Saturday november 4th was my last time I visited the Restaurant was really great because was a little reunion with people from the office ! The food was great as well prices but the service need a little bit of improvement that is all !

I absolutely loved this restaurant for the food quality. We went there many times, and tried different dishes each time, they were all fabulous! I personaly recomend the Gnocchi Maremonti, Pizza Carpaccio and the Panzannella pizza. Great prices and very good service. The restaurant has a very nice family ambiance.

Have you ever been looking for the best pizza? Well, defenetly you don't have to go to Italy, because it isn't there... guess what? the place is Costa Rica, Where you get the best pizza ever!!! Go and visit il pomodoro pizza!!! you are not gonna forget it!!! bellisimo!!!!

I' am a pizza lover, and I never thought I would find a better pizza than the ones I had in Rome! It' s a really popular place here in COSTA RICA. The best pizza in Town.

We found pomodoro by accident, Its a Nice casual restaurant, Pizza is excellent and very friendly staff. If you want italian food in S.J. Pomdoro is the place to go. Don`t forget to try the Focacia Caprese!

I lived in San Jose for 6 weeeks one summer and went to Il Pomodoro many times. There are two locations. Make sure you go to the big, new, three-storied one just on the opposite side of the main road from the mall behind the "American/Outlet" Mall asit is much nicer and the food better. The Ensalada Caprese is an excellent starter and the gnocci pasta with shrimp and asparagus or the Pizza Rustica are great. Get a seat on the second floor by the window for a nice breeze!! Also get an ice cold Imperial cerveza.

Pizzas served almost cold. Waiter terribly lazy. Poor service. Premises not clean.
