Condado Beach

Description

On Ashford Avenue , Condado Beach affords its visitors white sand beaches and its beautiful Laguna ( Parque Laguna del Condado (Condado Lagoon) ). You will find this small beach near the Condado Beach Resort to be an excellent bathing place, but beware that this spot can get quite crowded with locals and their families on weekends. The beach in front of the Condado hotels is actually public, so services are pricey including towel and beach gear rentals. This strip of beach can get rough in the winter season, so take the usual precautions.

i hope no one goes back

this beach is so noisy and the water is so dirty it is not a good place to be

Beach Bums

For four friends on vacation the beach was a great way to enjoy the hot weather and cold drinks. We were also like the fact that the beach was not over crowded.

Not Bad

I thought the beach was ok except the water was a bit choppy. But that's the Atlantic for you. But overall, it wasn't bad for a public beach. Not noisy and not a lot of drinking on the beach. The beach was kept very clean.

We go every year!!!

My boyfriend and I go to Condado every year. I cannot think of a more beautiful place to be. Great hotel (Marriott), great restaurants, best location in San Juan. We will be there in March and I cannot wait!!!

Breath Taken

I would wake up in the morning and walk down here from my Hotel and just the beach..it was so peaceful and no one bother me...everyone was so nice..and the beach was at one with me as I walked the beach line...the sunset was beautiful in the morning...when I told my mom ...2 wks later she walked the same beach..lol..I'm going back again one day!!!!

I LIKE THESE THE CONDADO BEACH ALOT IS A BEAUTIFUL VIEW...THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING I HAVEN'T SEEN...I HOPE YOU VISIT THEM ONEDAY...AND TASTE THE BEACH FROM PUERTO RICO...

it was just lovely yhe weather was perfect i went when my baby was 4 months old it was very relaxing i'm going back very soon pr is very romanticly calm i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it was great the people were very friendly u definatly have to try this out i really had a lot of fun the beaches were beautiful very very romantic perfect for honeymoons

Great Place to do NOTHING

This strech of beach is unbelievably clean. The trees along the edges give a perfect place to hang a hammock, take a dozen Coronas, and stay for the day.

Take a stroll!

The beaches at Condado are known for many things. One section is where you will find the "alternative" community hanging out. But most of the beaches here are family friendly. Personally, anywhere in Puerto Rico that you can see the ocean is great!

Take a Dip...

The beaches at Condado vary from classy to trashy. Some of them are fairly calm, while others have rather wild surf. I liked the public beach near the bridge best. It was small, but uncrowded, and mostly clean. The surf wasn't very strong at all, which was wonderful for swimming and relaxing in the water. It was also fun to go climbing over the rocks and explore. From the outer rim of rock, the view is amazing. Isla Verde is more the stereotypical Caribbean island beach, but Condado is still worth the visit.
