Calle del Cristo
Make it a point to stroll through the Cristo, and while you are at it, don't forget to bring your camera. The panoramic views are breathtaking, especially the intersection of Calle Cristo and Calle de San Sebastián . This street is host to several monuments of San Juan, such as the Iglesia San Jose, and the Capilla de Cristo , not to mention its excellent selection of world-class restaurants, such as Il Perugino . It's definitely one of the most important walks in the old city.
What I dislike? MM"mm"."MM", wait Iam thinking,Give me another our, Besides the view, the people, friendly When you hear "Buen Provecho" as you eat, from some one that you never met before thats class "Bon Appetite"
The street is in the heart of what's happening. Here is where you can be led to the Parque DePalomas (Pigeon Park). This park is where you can buy a bag of bird food that the pigeons know you have before you even open it up. They will land right on you and fight for the food. It looks like a scene from Hitchcock's "The Birds"! But don't worry, the birds are harmless, they won't hurt you...on purpose. I love to go there. But make sure you go when there is no or very few kids. The birds do not like large crowds of kids because tehy scare them away the minute they land each time. The street has a few restaurants on it that serve food to you either in the indoor setting or the outdoor setting and the food is delightful. I suggest it especially if you are honeymooners or just a romantic couple looking to feel the moment.
The atmoshere was neat you could combine sight seeing with some shopping. There wasn't a whole lot of outlet stores and the stores that were there were a little higher priced then the other outlets. Its pretty cramped the sidewalks are built for one and if your driving parking is limited and if you park in a ramp its expensive.
FRAUD ALERT! I bought 2 items at Kamel International Bazaar, with my debit card; immediately after I left someone at the store placed an order for $163.13 to Macy's #029, a well-known scamster ploy. DO NOT SHOP HERE, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.

Old San Juan PR is one of the best palces to visit in the Caribbean and Cristo Street is by far the neatest Outlet street Mall with great stores and values. I am an avid shopper and traveler. Every time we go on a cruise, we make sure there is a stop in Old San Juan PR so we can run to Cristo St. I found out recently that almost all the street is owned by an investor from California in the name of Cherif Medawar. He brought in all these great retailers and he keeps maiking the area better and better. Now that's great investing for him and fantastic shopping for the rest of us :-)
