This rather small Catholic parish, located in the Condado district, welcomes visitors to their services in both English and Spanish. While the building itself is nothing to write home about, the community is used to crowds of tourists and will gladly welcome you. This is probably the only church in Condado where you'll find a mass spoken in English. Be sure to arrive there early, especially for the sunday morning mass.
Women played a critical role in the liturgy, gracefully and without any foolishness or frumpery. The priest with a New York accent interacted with them in warm and friendly way. No ecclesiastical stiffness or phoney piety. ANd then the homily. what a treat. Thoughtful, intellectually challenging, colorful and relevant
Simple, warm church...filled with well off locals dressed to kill! They all seem to know each other & the atmosphere is very peaceful & fun...early Sunday mass a most...Spanish though!?!? The prist stays out for a long while chatting with all like in the old Spanish movies!
