Cafe Berlin, San Juan

Imagine going to a restaurant, which is supposed to be a fine one, and you find a cockroach in your salad��. and the attitude of the people working there is even worse than that. This is what happened to us in Caf� Berlin, San Juan Puerto Rico, some time ago. What did we do? Well, we were really surprised and, as civilized people, we tried to avoid any embarrassment. Therefore, we politely approached the waiter. However, for our big surprise, instead of being understanding, the waiter was very hostile and for some reason he confronted us with the outrageous accusation that we planted we cockroach in the salad!!. In view of the rudeness and discourtesy of our waiter, we decided to complain to the manager of the restaurant. Unfortunately, he was very busy talking on the phone�. and didn�t pay much attention to our claim. In our opinion, the whole scenario reflects a very negative attitude. Namely, don�t worry�these are just tourist�. They come and go.!! Disappointed customers.

Aside from the stinking, unclean restrooms and that the menu has no food remotely related to German or Berlin, it's a rare island of rudeness, slow service even with only half the tables occupied and an attitude that questions why the place is still in business. Try to avoid this trap.

as a vegetarian is was a great experiance to find this wonderful restaurant.
