The Greenhouse? Too Green!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/25/05
My wife and I recently moved to Puerto Rico and have been looking forward to experiencing some of the eateries on the island. I had heard about the Greenhouse and we decided to check it out. First let me say that the ambiance is nothing to write home about. The waiter staff seemed to be more interested on their personal conversation, than catering to the guests. I had to constantly try to get our waiter's attention to place our order.
When we requested pre dinner drinks, it took an inordinate amout of time for it to reach our table. Again, after getting the waiter's attention to place our dinner order, there were no recommendations on the house specialties. My wife ordered Baked Salmon and Baked Potato and I ordered Shrimps in Garlic Sauce served over White Rice/ w vegetables. My wife's opinion on the Salmon was that is was bland and and that she had never eaten a Salmon with so many fish bones in it. As for my Shrimp order,it was mediocre and the garlic sauce was almost non-existent. Overall, it was not a pleasurable dining experience.
Personally, I would not recommend this dining establishment to any of my friend or family.
